How the founding rate works
The first 20 subscribers save 33% off the standard rate, on either plan — Solo at $99/mo instead of $149, or Teams at $199/mo instead of $299. It is a permanent rate, not a launch promo that expires in three months.
Locked for lifemeans exactly that, for as long as the subscription stays continuously active. Cancel and come back later and you rejoin at the standard rate — the founding seat does not come back with you.
The rate applies automatically while seats remain. There is nothing to enter and no choice to make: if a founding seat is open when you subscribe, you get it.
Questions about billing
Is there a free version?
Yes, and it does not expire. Create an account, verify your email address, and you can search the whole database and open 5firm records a month in full — criteria, history and contacts. No credit card, no countdown, nothing charged unless you choose to subscribe.
Re-opening a firm you have already viewed does not count again, so the 5 are 5 distinct firms, and the allowance refreshes every month. Free search shows the true match count but the first 25 results.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, through the Customer Portal on your account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you keep access through it.
Do you offer refunds?
Subscription fees are non-refundable — no refunds for partial months, unused features, or annual plans cancelled mid-year. The free plan costs nothing and takes no card, so nothing is charged until you choose to subscribe.
Can I switch between monthly and annual?
Email support@investorroster.com and we will move you. If you are on the founding rate, switching billing period keeps it.
